Chippokes Plantation State Park, outside of Surry, Virginia, provided a beautiful backdrop for the 2021 Prelude to Yorktown Revolutionary event in September. This was a Revolutionary War reenactment and living history demonstration. I was happy to be able to spend most of the day on Saturday shooting the encampments, demonstrations, and the small portion of the battle that I could shoot from my limited vantage point. I’ve posted a variety of the images below. I hope you enjoy them.
As always, I would be happy to send you a digital copy of your photos to the reenactors who appear in them, for your own personal use or for the promotion of your unit, free of charge. In order to make that happen, just contact me with the number(s) of the image(s) and I will get them into your inbox as quickly as possible. Also, prints are also available in a variety of sizes and finishes. Just click the shopping cart icon below the image to place your order right here on the site. Or, if you would like something in particular, or if it’s just easier for you, you can contact me directly and I will handle the process for you.
If you participated in the 2021 Prelude to Yorktown at Chippokes Plantation and you don’t see yourself below, there is a good chance that I have an image or two of you in my files. I’d be happy to check if you would just contact me with a description and I will see what I can find.
